Meeting/Event Information
We are excited to host our 3rd Quarter 2026 meeting at Hotel Carmichael in Carmel, IN! We are currently finalizing our speaker lineup and will continue our AI Pulse series. The full agenda will be shared soon.
Based on positive feedback, we’ll be bringing back our Kahoot! quizzes in a fun and engaging way. We will also provide an update on our chapter’s progress toward the 2026 goals. As always, the day will be filled with valuable education, meaningful networking, and a strong return on your investment of time and membership.
This quarter, we’ve introduced a separate complimentary registration for the networking event. You only need to sign up for this if you are not attending the Education Day. If you are registered for Education Day, your networking attendance is already included—no need to register twice. We appreciate your patience as we continue improving our website to better meet our needs.
A sincere thank you to our annual sponsors, who will be featured on our banner display throughout the year and in our social media. We also extend our gratitude to Hotel Carmichael for their generous venue sponsorship. Additional sponsorship opportunities may be available—our communications reach an audience of over 800, so stay tuned if you're interested.
We look forward to seeing you in Carmel, IN this September!

The Art of Woo - Influence, Persuasion and Negotiation
Presented by: Mario Moussa, Senior Fellow, University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business
This workshop is about the leadership challenge that former Chrysler chairman Lee Iacocca once noted in the most vivid terms. "You can have brilliant ideas,” Iacocca said, “but if you can't get them across, your ideas won't get you anywhere." Through highly interactive exercises and discussions, participants will learn how to use influence, persuasion, and negotiation to “get their ideas across” to co-workers, customers, friends, and family members.
The workshop begins with a discussion of the typical challenges that one faces in communicating and negotiating with others who have different perspectives and interests. Participants then practice applying strategies for overcoming those challenges and receive feedback about their performance. Participants will also review a proprietary survey that offers further insight into their communication and bargaining styles.
Take-aways from the workshop include:
- Your communication and bargaining styles and how you can adapt them to maximize your effectiveness
- The five barriers to communication and methods for overcoming them
- The systematic steps in the process of negotiating
- The similarities and differences among influencing, persuading, and negotiating
- Techniques to motivate others to take action
Whether you are an expert or novice at influencing and negotiation, this workshop will enhance your ability to get things done.
